劇集介紹：
週刊Times的記者三島，為了追查震驚社會的「暗黑打工殺人事件」幕後黑手，奉總編輯之命飛往泰國曼谷。然而，在當地等待著他的，竟是兩年前在「火刑殺人事件」中讓他嚐盡地獄滋味的情報販子木原。在木原的擺佈之下，三島仍努力推進採訪。而此時，一名自稱「情報販子」的神祕男子鬼塚出現在兩人面前，擋住去路。圍繞著在「暗黑打工殺人事件」中被奪走的「神祕物品」，木原與三島逐漸被捲入與鬼塚以及當地黑手黨之間的龐大情報戰。另一方面，警方同樣在追查該事件的幕後主使，並成立了罕見的專案搜查體制。在警視正高野的指揮下，調查持續推進。潛伏在這起事件背後的「巨大黑暗勢力」，究竟是什麼？
究竟是要活下去，還是要知道真相？
